Electronic Learning

The Office of Information & Learning Technology (OILT) seeks to maximize learning opportunities Louisiana citizens through the effective, efficient, and cooperative utilization of electronic learning technologies regardless of time and distance. The goals of electronic learning are to complement and enhance the state’s existing higher education resources. To accomplish this, OILT provides strategic planning and support for administrators, faculty and technical personnel related to e-learning best practices, applications and deployment. OILT is also the state partner and coordinator for several national e-learning organizations.

OILT provides the following core services through the Statewide E-Learning Support Center (SELSC):
